healthcare data analyticsWith the release last week of the 2013 Flex guidance, the Federal Office is calling on grantees to become more prescriptive with their activities, and to link measures to those activities. In support of this new approach, iVantage has developed a set of products and services tailored to the priorities expressed by the Federal Office in the form of improvement “interventions”.

Attached is a 2-page document that outlines iVantage’s capabilities, organized according to the Flex grant Quality, Finance and Operational interventions. Of note, we offer three products that can serve as valuable resources to your network and its hospital members:

  1. Hospital Strength Index: TM a comprehensive benchmarking system that incorporates MBQIP measures into a data platform to facilitate comparative analysis and networking specifically for small and rural hospitals.
  2. iBenchmarks: TM an Operational Assessment application that provides hospitals with detailed analysis, benchmarks and improvement opportunities at the individual DRG, physician and cost center levels. We believe iBenchmarks represents an important move for hospitals away from episodic consulting engagements toward operational analytics that enable managers to function more autonomously, with a greater degree of ownership.
  3. EDManage Suite: TM Web-based tools for tracking Emergency Department visits that provide analysis necessary for operational improvement within a small rural hospital’s most important department. The EDManage application has been configured to collect and submit the Phase 3 MBQIP ED Transfer Communication Measures — atTM no costTM to your hospitals.

Note that in addition to the specific capabilities we have for the recommended interventions, iVantage provides tools that facilitate achievement of the Flex grant’s three broader Core Areas. Don’t hesitate to contact us by e-mailTM or at 615-932-8400 with questions or for a demonstration.
